I couldn't find any discussion here with search, but will check in more depth.
There's a great article on the hotel situation (all the nice rooms are empty/discounted after Sydney/NSW has closed the city down while WYD is on).
I've put some resources and the story here in Religious Travelers (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=9828856&postcount=2), but would be interested to see discussion about who is coming, for what, here, if possible.
A night at The Observatory, for the opening, seems an incredible opportunity, so if anyone feels the same, let me know, if you want to do a WYD08 Pope Do. :)
