Hello - newbie here -- I also posted this on the National thread but no luck so far --
I am looking for a good rate on a one-way rental. Pick up from Manchester, NH airport on July 26. Drop off in Boston on Aug. 5. Need at least a mid-size due to family traveling (me, husband, 2 kids).
The quotes i have been getting from Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, even Costco Travel have been horrific. Over $1500!!!!! I don't really get it since those 2 airports are not that far apart -- I wouldn't think a one-way rental would be so unusual.
Any thoughts? Help? I was hoping to pay more like $400 at the most ...
PS I know Thrifty has decent rates but I am not wild about them and supposedly the drop off in Boston is waaaaay out.
