Great offer!

Have you at any time been a member of EuroBonus at Silver level for five consecutive years but never reached Gold status? As part of our anniversary celebrations we are giving a special reward for this loyalty. Any member who has held Silver status for five consecutive years during the period April 1992 – March 2002 will automatically receive a Gold card for his/her next qualification period. This applies to all members who fulfill the above conditions, regardless of whether they are currently Silver or Basic members.</font>

Now, my question is, what about members who ARE Gold or Silver now and who have been Gold or Silver for five consecutive years? (Ummm should I mention that I fall into this category?) Will SAS give them a complementary Gold card for a year as well?

I'm not too impressed with what EuroBonus is offering Gold members as part of the 10 year celebrations: A very expensive trip to South Africa for 240,000 points or a lunch with Ferrari cars and drivers for 55,000 points.

The offers for Silver members seem much more reasonable: Some hotel stays in Scandinavia and London. And also the 'if you have been Silver for 5 consecutive years' offer.

Why doesn't EuroBonus offer Gold members the Silver offers too? Then it would be OK to add a few extra offers just for Golds.

I really don't understand EuroBonus marketing at times ...

That offer is for a 'suite' at certain Radisson/SAS hotels on weekends during July and August this year for 15,000 points a night.

Normally a room costs 10,000 points on a weekend night. And as EBG you can ask for (and often get) an upgrade. So I fail to see what the big deal is? You have to pay 50% more than a regular room and get ... a suite?

Is this a great offer? I fail to see it ...

I agree, austman there's too long time between good offers for gold members and all other members .....
