Sixt - Sixt Gold- Any Real Benefits?

Hi there!

I am Sixt Gold and am wondering if there are any real perks (other than the discount). I was given Gold due to my use of Sixt Limousine Service.:p

Therefore, I have no experience with their Self-Drive Rent a Car.

Has anyone ever been upgraded due to being a Gold Member? Maybe some free water when picking up the car?

sorry, but the gold card isnt really good for anything. platinum makes a difference, but gold? it basically shows the sixt representative that you are not completely new to them. not much more than that.

usually you get gold for 5 rentals a year. (platinum 20 by the way)
so your not really something special to them with that card.

I've found the only difference my Gold Card made was that I could log into the site with my card number and it retrieved my details. So it saved me 30 seconds typing them in before reserving a car.

Rates werent any better than I could get online anyway.

I rang central reservations and quoted my gold card number but the rate was an extra 60% on top of the standard rate I was quoted online so that was pointless.

I shall look forward to Platinum and see what happens.
