Unless I'm missing something, I'm not sure this belongs in MilesBuzz.
I'm going to move this to the 'Other European' (http://www.flyertalk.com/forumcgi/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Other+European+Frequent+Flyer+Programs&number=137&DaysPrune=5&LastLogin=) forum even though it may not be directly miles related. (Though it would involve one's ability to collect Amex-related FF points).
