Can you still buy a round the world ticket with *star ?
I would like to stop in LAX,HNL and SIN. Not with SQ if no miles are earned in some of their economy booking class.
What is best avail price and how many miles will I earn...?

Do someone know this kind of information ??

HI,
you can find the info on SAS Swedish website: http://www.scandinavian.net/travel/se/basicfares/rtw/starrtwfirst.asp

Going for the Star Special Economy you will get up to 26000 Basic points.

SAS has not released any prices on their danish website... http://www.scandinavian.net/travel/pleasure/poffers.asp

By the way, you will receive miles on SQ on this fare (as far as I know), as it is booked in an eligible booking class.

That should not be a problem...
As long as you stay within 26000 miles and that is no problem for CPH-LAX-HNL-SIN-CPH.
I have tried to calculate the miles, and it is not exceeding 23000 - plenty of miles to play around with... trying different * companies...

I bought an around the world Star ticket from SAS in May. It was booked in YRWSPCL and the total price including various taxes came out to be dkr. 14030,00.

I credited the miles to my United Airlines Mileage Plus account and all miles on all flights qualified for credit. Most flights are booked in H class.

If you receive credit for SQ in Eurobonus I would highly recommend booking as many segments on SQ as possible. I was on SK/UA/TG and SQ, and SQ had by far the best service and seat comfort. Make sure you stay away from Thai's Boeing 777's, they somehow managed to squeeze an extra seat into every row and to add injury to insult they also decreased the pitch.

I hope you have as much fun planning your trip as I had. The challenge is to get as close to 26000 miles without going over. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Actually you could earn much more then 26000EuroBonus points even though you travel much less then 26k. How? Check out the Star forum and the thread Around the World Question.
