Hello everyone -

My wife and I were two of what appears to be a growing number of you who secured the above-referenced deal posted by OZ.

This morning we opened up our e-mail to find the following message received at 1:46 A.M. from Farizah Rahman <farizah.rahman@zuji.com> of ZUJI:

"Thank you for booking with ZUJI.

We have been trying to contact you in order to verify a few details of your booking, but to no avail. Due to the time difference, we would appreciate it if you could reply to this email with a number where we can contact you at after office hours. Alternatively, you can give me a call at 65 62498757 (Singapore).

Looking forward to hearing from you soon."

Have e-mailed back giving our telephone number and will await "clarification" of whatever "verification" may be deemed required.

It's been over a week since we made this booking; we have received written confirmation from ZUJI it was accepted by Air Tahiti Nui; we have confirmed with Air Tahiti Nui directly that according to their records we have a reservation which has been ticketed; we have seat assignments; and according to our credit card company the charge for the tickets has gone through.

In reliance, we have ticketed round trip connecting flights from/to LAX and are in the process of making intra-New Zealand air transportation reservations.

We hope the "news" is going to be nothing more than "verification" as represented, however, thought we'd better make the post for the benefit of any others similarly situated. If others of you who received booking confirmations have received similar e-mails [make sure you check], then I fear something may be amiss - but I guess we'll soon find out and report.

Good luck to us all...

My friend was called by ZUJI a few days after the booking was made to verify his address and credit card number... he confirmed the data and ZUJI thanked him and said the tickets are on the way...

I'm sure it's no problem... a Singaporean website probably doesn't get much North American based business all year!

The airfare post by Oz was mistakenly posted here in MilesBuzz! as it should have been in TravelBuzz!. Because of some other similar types of airfare deals, we're going to be a little more vigilent to make sure those are posted in the correct forums. I'll move this post to TravelBuzz! so that MilesBuzz! can revert to being dedicated to the topic of frequent flyer programs. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
