Air New Zealand Air Points - Koru Guest Pass question (probly dumb)

I was a (paid) Koru club member last year... qualified Gold early this year so my membership was cancelled/put on hold/whatever and a pro rata membership refund received.. all IAW published practice..
So far so good....
Question is... Can I - if I happen to be travelling with TWO other (non status) folks, guest BOTH in to the Club... one as my "Gold guest" and one with one of the unused guest passes I have left over?
Given that a refund was received I would suspect not... but does anyone have any experience of this?
Weird question huh??

I did it a while back at the MEL KC and had no problem with it ... other than the fact that I accidentally gave them my Gold card with the guest pass. :o It arrived home in the mail a few days later. :)

If you're * Gold aren't you allowed more than one guest anyway? Not in the regional NZ lounges, but in the hub and international ones ...

Really... I'll have to check that! Just assumed it was one....
Thanks Guys!!!
Edit: Yup, us scummy Golds get ONE guest.. it is the Exalted ones who can take in more...:D

Gold lets you take one guest, Gold Elite lets you take 5.
... but does anyone have any experience of this?
Had a trip in April with my wife and two children (6yr and 8yr) from CHC to BNE. Both the CHC and BNE KC let the four of us in on my NZ*G. I think it may depend on a) how full the lounge is, b) the fact that I was with two children c) the person on the desk.
Hope this helps.

Yes, I think the family "exemption" - if it can even be called that - is a different case..;)
I'd be wanting to guest in two folks clearly well over that sort of age!!!:D
We'll see.......

It is an interesting question. I have no status with Air NZ but when I was QF Gold I was routinely let into the lounge with my wife and two children with hardly any hassles. The only hassles I ever had was in the BA J lounge at LHR where I was practically tortured by the attendant for "trying to take advantage and cheat" as she so kindly put it, any lounge operated by AA and lounges where capacity was reduced because they were building new lounges.
However, on a side note, I also was talking to a colleague the other day about KC guest entry. He was wondering whether a person with a KC guest pass could enter the KC by themselves, without a KC member?

Not unless that person has *G status (in which case the KC guest pass is not needed).

I once took half a cricket team into the KC at CHC on my Gold Elite card .. but it was about 8pm and the lounge was empty and IIRC they had just won the New Zealand women's under 20 tournament. ^

Hi trooper,
Mrs Blackcloud has used her old KC Guest pass to get another person into AKL dom KC beside the one allowed on *G.
I have also given passes to family and friends (Mrs Blackcloud before her KC and *G, FIL and the Boss) travelling alone to use, SYD KC, WLG KC, WLG Dom, CHC Dom and AKL Dom, which have all been accepted without question I am told.
Of cousre YMMV.;)
Note for Dom travelling KC members are allowed 3 guests but international only 1.

A collegue gave me a few - they're around 3 years old.
Is the design likely to have changed?

I've seen two types: one is a purple blue pass and the other is a new design with a sandstone colour. I expect the sandstone colour is the newer pass. Although I am not a KC member or have status with NZ so I really have no solid knowledgde, just passes I have seen friends and family use.

Mine were issued last year and are the "sandstone/green/white" design...
Not aware of any "use by" date....;)
