Earlier this year SAS was forced to remove their Eurobonus points on their short-haul domestic flights (primarily operated by their subsidiary Wiederĝe) that are partly ste sponsored. Now it looks like the axe may also fall upon the rest of their domestic flights. This situastion is similar to the one in Sweden (See Austman's post of 16/12-1999 uptdated 20/4-2000) where SAS is said to take advantage of their dominant role on the domestic scene (Up to 90% of the market belongs to SAS). So far it looks as Norway will await the Swedish court decision expected later this summer.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I know that InsideFlyer magazine is interested too.

SAS claim that Eurobonus is just like any other loyalty scheme and it is unfair to single them out.
