The Google mapping of Burma / Myanmar has greatly improved. I'd imagine this is in conjunction with cyclone relief efforts.
Some major Rangoon / Yangon street names and some placemarks are now included as well as mapping of major cities such as Pathein and even small places such as Chaungtha beach, WNW of Pathein on the coast.
I had started a map (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=104204655440792142432.00044809393390f01c14e&ll=16.775534,96.169853&spn=0.068043,0.131664&z=14)with some hotels and restaurants, though who knows when the country will become a destination for anything but relief efforts, especially the south.
Edited to add that the street names in Yangon don't seem to be right. For instance, what's shown as Bo Myat Tun I believe is really Bo Ta Htaung Pagada Road. Anyway, the point is that there are possible errors.
