Wyndham Rewards (formerly TripRewards) - Double points/miles promotion

The welcome page of the Wyndham Trip Reward site features a promotion offering double points/miles for stays up to September 8th. Yet when you try to register, the next page only mentions double points until May 15th (which was an old promotion) and any attempt to register says you have already done so. It has been like this for over a week now.

Does anyone know how to register for the new promotion? Will it count for stays already booked, but not yet taken? I have three reservations in the pipeline and would like to make sure they're covered if, in fact, there is a promotion at all!

The summer promotion does not require registration.

Possibly the confusion is that there are two promotions. The one which ended 15 May was for double hotel points. The current one is for double miles or rail points. So far as I've been able to find, there aren't any current promos for hotel points. And, as boazs mentioned, one seems to be registered in the current promotion automatically.

Stayed 2X before May 15 (had registered for the promo and both stays were within the promo period). My default is Aeroplan Points.

Earn double American Airlines AAdvantage® miles for your stays, simply for being our guest now through September 4, 2008.

*To qualify for the double miles promotion and earn double miles, the member must (i) choose to earn American Airlines AAdvantage miles in their Wyndham Rewards member profile, (ii) book a reservation for and stay at a participating Wyndham Rewards hotel in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany or China at a qualifying rate, between May 1, 2008 and September 4, 2008, and (iii) complete their hotel stay by October 4, 2008. Synthesizing Smallfly & Jthiel1 above, AFAIK the Spring promo was for our choice of Wyndham points or FF miles, while the Summer promo offers FF miles or AGR only-- no Wyndham points.

I just called Wyndham about a missing stay & Jackie registered me for a bonus of 3000 Wyndham points if I stay 3x from May 15--Aug. 31, & she said it was combinable with the Summer 2x miles promo!
