Reno Air QQuickMiles - upgrading using aa upgrades lax-sfo

Is there experience upgrading lax-sfo using AA upgrades on Reno?
Has it been successful for Gold and/or Platinum members?

You can use stickers to upgrade on Reno. You will have to get them from your electronic account. I have notced that the 30/60/90 dollar exchange rate is a better deal than the stickers. Also, you can call Reno 24/72/100 hours in advance to secure your upgrade.
