Well, I've finally finished a trip report from my experience in Swiss First Class back in August and September 2002. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice about this trip. This is my first effort at a photo trip report, so I'm open and appreciative towards any feedback. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Enjoy!

I appreciate you taking the time to do this report, which made for interesting reading. I have not seen the service offering in a SWISS first class cabin shown in such detail. Many thanks.

Fantastic trip report, I especially enjoyed all the pictures. Thank you!
Why don't you post this in the trip report forum too?

Congratulations on a truly excellent trip report which provides a lot of insight into the Swiss F product and service.
Unfortunately, this report hasn't done much to encourage me to ever fly Swiss in F. Comparing it to my own experiences of the LH F class, the food in particular seems to be sub par on Swiss, but also the cabin ambience is not really to my taste, and the shower in the ZRH F lounge looks cold and not very inviting.
Yet this ciriticism shall in no way diminish the quality of your report. Quite the opposite, as it has provided me with information that will allow me to take an informed decision.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could list the wine selection offered on both flights.
Thank you for the great amount of work invested into this report.

Fascinating! Thank you, ThisFlightNoFuel! My partner and I are flying Swiss F IAD-ZRH-JNB and back in a few weeks... we're looking forward to it more than ever, thanks to your trip report. In fact, we may not even take photos for our own trip report, since you've documented the experience so vividly.
Thanks again!

For those of you who may be interested, I've now updated the trip report to include the wine card from the flights, as well as some comments regarding the arrival process at IAD. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Thank you for all of your positive feedback! I'm glad that everyone seems to like the report. From the responses I'm getting, I may just continue to do them in the future...
Please do - it's excellent! Many thanks!

Thank you for great report.
I am unimpressed by the wines on first blush, but don't really know them.
It is a fantastic report!
Thank you, ThisFlightNoFuel.

The wines are quite good in fact.
For example:
"Château La Lagune 1995 - 3e Cru Classé - Haut-Médoc AOC - Bordeaux, France"
is a very good Bordeaux quite expensive and well known.
