With work territory changes thsi year, I will be "downlgrading" from PPS to Gold on Singapore, but it seems to have been impossible to get thos elast 500 miles onto my account. Flights with Thai and Air China are still outstanding, with half the legs getting through, and half of them not. Also, a business class leg where they moved me to an Emirate flight as the inbound Sing flight was late and missed the connection. Is there something going on????

So not only am I interested in how differently I will be treated going from PPS to Gold, but whetehr I will actually even make Gold!

Yes I know it's a bit of a rant for an early or first post!

If you get involuntary rerouted then you're still entitled to the miles from your originally booked itinery.

Yes you are entitled but don't expect it to happen automatically. When it's happened to me I've always had to write to customer services. I used to have a friend working there who I emailed directly but he's left. I'm sure you'll get your miles but it's bound to take some effort on your part unfortunately.
