Qualiflyer - Double Bonus Miles with Avis until 31.12.02

Travelclub and Travelclub Gold members benefit from double bonus miles, that is, 1,000 instead of 500, for rentals with Avis until 31.12.02. Note that this applies to rentals in Europe only. Members are also eligible for a free car upgrade subject to availability. I thought that this was worth posting, as I saw no mention of it anywhere except in the latest issue of the SWISS inflight magazine.

I should have added that each Avis rental qualifies as an entry to a competition to win miles, details of which are in the latest Qualiflyer Newsletter. At least, I think that it is "each" entry. I wonder what happens when they omit to post the miles, as is so often with Avis.

I believe that you can enter without renting, by sending your name, address and QG number in on a postcard.
