iDine/Rewards Network - Clarification on max miles per month at a given restaurant

I have recently noticed the following wording under some restaurants:

1000 per month, see above for benefit availability

I am wondering if the 1000 refers to dollars or miles. If miles, does it refer to the first 5 miles/$ or even the survey 5 miles/$.

Some clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Dollars

It is a recent typo. They used to say either $600 or $1000, but they reformatted messages and forgot the $ sign from the 1000 version.

The only time they state mileage earning limits is on some bonuses (eg, "earn xx bonus miles per dine up to a maximum of yyyy bonus miles").
