Qualiflyer - best and cheapest way to reach TC Gold before changing
I just have enough club miles (40000 in the last 12 month) to acced Travelclub october 1st, 2002. What could be the cheapest way to reach TC Gold (70 000 miles) ou 100 000 to circle before december 31/02

Welcome to the board,
First you need 200'000 club miles 2/3 in C or F-class to access the Circle Club.
If you want to get to TC Gold and need 30'000 club miles, live near Basel and have time, you can buy a Swiss Domestic pass for 555.- CHF which alow you to get 30% discount on all domestic Swiss flight.
Then you can do some runs from BSL to BRN in C-class for arround 140.- CHF (with the discount) for 2'000 club miles return.
Another choice is to try the Web Specials out Wed at 12h on www.swiss.com (http://www.swiss.com) from 99.- CHF from BSL most of the time.
But you have to have time..
Another choice is to buy a C-class tket from BSL to Singapore for around 4000.- CHF with will get you almost 22'000 club miles for round trip.

...I read somewhere, but I don't remember exactly where, a few days ago, about end of qualiflyer, that TC Gold members with 100 000 club miles will acced to circle 1st January 2003.
thanks for the swiss.abo suggestion.

Qualiflyer Travel Club / Travel Club Gold will cease to exist in 2003. Well, actually it will be rebranded as SWISS Travel Club. It will have 4 levels. Basic, Silver, Gold and Circle.

I've never heard of that. This would be an extremely good deal though, almost too good to be true.

JD25,
Navigator Circle is not Travel Club Circle.
In my opinion Travel Club Circle is the best level to reach.

It is very unlikely that they would go down that much with the requirements just to make some better TC Gold customers happy. It would degrade any current circle member (at least those who really fly a lot http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif).

BTW: Aren't the requirements for the TAP Navigator Circle 100k clubmiles anyway?
