Qualiflyer - 'Double use' of status miles to qualify for Elite?

With my status miles accrued from 01-FEB-01 to 31-JAN-02, I made it into TravelClub.

Today, after having read the new QG overview leaflet, I figured that I might even make it into TravelClub Gold in the period

01-JAN-02 to 31-DEC-02.

That would however mean I sort of 'double use' my miles from January 02. Is that allowed?

Of course it is allowed what you should is sent an email to Qualiflyer in Zurich and explain the question.

AirOli, there is no sort of 'double use' of your miles. You are TCQM and the requalifying period is the (last) calendar year.
But to qualify (for the first time) for TC Gold the only thing what you have to do is to earn a total of 70.000 Club miles in the last 12 months if you are registered with an address other than Switzerland, Swiss members need 90.000 Club miles.

Normaly people in CH need "only" 80'000 club miles to qualifly to TC Gold the first time and 60'000 club miles to remain TC Gold member.

For Circle is 200'000 club miles 2/3 of the miles have to be flown in C- or F-Class.
