By the end of October 2000, Turkish Airlines started its own programme: Miles & Miles.
In October 2000 already it has been mentioned in the Qualiflyer forum that FlyerTalk has no forum for TK Miles & Miles. Surprisingly over a year later there still is not such a forum.
Recently I have sent an e-mail to the FlyerTalk administrator requesting to open a Miles & Miles forum. To date my request is unanswered. Most likely the FlyerTalk administrator thinks the Turks still fly on carpets and subsequently do not need a forum.
In 2000 Turkish Airlines has sent Qualiflyer members a new Miles & Miles program card and TK credited the exact amount of miles someone had on Qualiflyer. That meant TK Miles & Miles doubled all miles earned on Qualiflyer. TK also matched Qualiflyer Travel Club Card with a Miles & Miles Elite Card. Note that this was done a year before such type of actions became more common. Like nowadays KLM at http://www.klm.be/new_members/new_members.asp.
Now Miles & Miles is alive for over a year.
I like to know what are your experiences with the programme. In particular the opinion of Qualiflyer members booking awards with TK miles is appreciated.
