I am a little confused by the award calculator on Asia Miles' web site. I tried to calculate a roundtrip between BKK and TPE, but as soon as I select one airport, the other disappear from the list.

How do I book such a ticket? Do I need to book them as two separate awards (HKG-TPE and HKG-BKK)?

At first, you chose BKK-HKG,
then click 'Add Sector' at bottom of the box,
then chose HKG-TPE.
then page appeares.
BKK-HKG-TPE-HKG-BKK needs 30,000 asiamiles for economy class roundtrip.

But note that you can only have two stopovers, so generally you can stop over in HKG in one direction or the other, not both, in order to get it under a single award.

Although, strictly you could transit Taipei and stop over in both directions in Hong Kong, and I suppose I could see some scenarios where that might be useful if you only need a daytrip to Taipei.

That make sense. I see it now. Thanks!

I only want to stopover in Hong Kong once, so this works out perfectly (except for the fact that I only have 20000 miles now, 10k to go).
