New to KE, but it appeared that the 330 service from Vietnam - Korea is rather "plain vanilla" and maybe outdated by looking at their website. Is that a fair interpretation? If now what should I expect as I have only been on SQ and Thai Airways with regard to Asia travel. Thanks for any comment is you have had experience with this or similar flight with KE. Also not clear on how this automatic seat assignment works... but that they do it 90 days out and you can then make adjustments if available. I'm traveling with my wife to they actually take that into account?

Regional C in Asia doesn't tend to be that great on most of the carriers, unless you are flying one like UA or NW that uses international configured planes from their hubs in NRT/HKG etc.

The C on KE's 330 is similar to domestic first class in the US with a shade more pitch. If you're familiar with TG, their A300 is similar in C.

Yea, but if you take the A330 of TG, or CI, it a whole different game! They have slightly better seats.

Any comments on quality of service, cleanliness facilities, condition of seats, etc. I understand the type of seat from prior input, anything specific to this itinerary on a 330. Heh, thanks. I have previously flown on Thai 330 from BKK to Phuket... assume this is similar?
