I have flown the 1900D on more than 10 occasions, but only with very minimal carry on luggage. On my next trip, I will be taking a Camera Backpack, and a fairly large Laptop roll-aboard- about 4 inches thick. (Fits a 15" Notebook)
On the other aircraft Im flying, they wont really have any issue with it- But will they approve of this on the Beech?

Only if it fits under the seat in front of you (or maybe if load is light they will be okay strapping your carryon into an empty seat). There is not a lot of space under the seat in front. I've been okay with a small duffle bag OR small laptop bag. But anything moderate size or unable to squish could be an issue.
If it can't come onboard they'll stow in the hold for you. If it is picked up at check in then will be checked baggage, whereas if only picked up at gate or boarding you can get it straight away when you deplane.

Cheers for that Kiwi Flyer. Its a pretty protective bag, so I dont mind it going into the hold for a 25 minute flight.
