Hilton HHonors - Xmas Break for Hilton Diamond

HI,

wasnt sure where to put this thread so I will put it here for fellow HH members, I am diamond VIP with about 200k points, I am currently almost living in the Hilton Park SA in Istanbul and will be so probably until Sep timframe so status and points should be plenty.

I am looking to book something for Xmas in a warm place, I live normally (when not in Istanbul) in Germany... and want to use points for this stay... however most places I check are fully booked out, and I was even wondering whether Hotels would accept a points stay during this period due to demand...

so 2 questions, firstly will it be possible to use points for an Xmas stay and secondly does anyone have some suggestions on a warm winter place (not more than 6-8 hour flight from Germany)

A little in excess of 6-7 hrs but consider the Hiltons in Mauritius or the Seychelles. Closer to home would be one of the many resorts in Egypt (Sharm or Hurghada) or the Gulf Area (DXB, KWI, etc.)

Xmas should not be a a special problem if you book now.
