Hilton HHonors - BD Gold Hilton Gold promotion

Hi all,

I just reached Gold status on BD and somehere I recall reading about a pomotion that gets HH Gold vip status through having achieved gold status on BD.
Does anyone here have details of this promo (code?) so that I can try to see if I can keep my HH gold card?

I was comp'd to HH. Gold.. didn't ask for it, just arrived thro' the post.... at a time I wasn't staying much in hotels... but now I am again, it's very handy...
But it was as a result of the BMI ff program.

Correct, you receive it once, after you achieve BD Gold for the first time. If you aren't already a HH member, or have status below Gold you'll get it. If you have HH Gold/Diamond already, you'll get nothing.

Do also Alitalia gold members get Hilton gold? Anybody out there knows about that? Have a friend who would stay a couple of times in Hilton if he were gold.
