I read this in an article today:
Charles Ogilvie who created and runs the system told PSFK that the new airline hopes to have more daily blog content to sit alongside traditional media when they launch their Read section of the IFE.

That'll be interesting... I wonder what they'll have on it.

The idea is to offer online versions of regular media, including magazines and newspapers; to avoid having all the clutter of paper through tout the cabin to be cleaned, plus the eco-friendly nature of having it online.

smart ^ It'll also save a lot of $$$ in fuel over the life of the aircraft.

I love that idea.
The clear plastic bins on the back of each seat (along with the see-through netting) make the cabin an infinitely cleaner, more orderly place. Plus the visual appeal of having nothing in those bins when you get to your seat (because the saftey card is on the seat itself) is just wonderful.
