I have always wondered about this - sometimes check in agents provide tags to allow oversized luggage to go in the cabin. Can these be used? I have not ever had them so never had chance to examine them close up.

If you get one but end up not using it, you can probably get away with a reuse. Sometimes they are timestamped, but it can be hard to read. If you use it, they'll tear off half of it, so that's it for that one.

Never had a problem with reuse.
