Qantas Frequent Flyer - What to do with 45K miles...

Anyone have any suggestions? These are leftover from the great Valuemags fiasco.

Where are you?

SYD-AKL in J costs 45K points....

45K points = 2700 miles AA/BA/QF in J (LAX-JFK for example, or lots of places in the Caribean or Central America). Presumably you are in the US, which makes this quite a nice award. The other uses are somewhat absurd (e.g. 1 night at Sydney W costs 45K points -- what a waste).

Would that be up to 2700 miles or are you talking Round Trip here? That would be a great award if it were RT.
