ok.. so I am a newbie to car renting I would love some help with another set of eyes to see If I cam getting the best rate.
I need a rental car from 4/22-4-28 from DeLand, FL. Enterprise is my only option since I need for them to pick me up from the train station.
Right now I have a Full Size with the Entertainment book code and its $148 with tax $172. I am going to have to add a second driver at $8.00
Does anyone have any better deals with a legal code?

There are lots of "Entertainment Book" codes, so I don't know which one you mean. But generally I've found the Entertainment Book codes are some of the best around. Be aware that some of them technically require a physical coupon when picking up the vehicle. Whether or not this is actually asked for varies by location.
Also, you may want to consider other car rental companies, because if they have a better rate, you could simply take a taxi from the train station. (I'm not familiar with DeLand, so I don't know if this is a realistic option...I'm sure there would be a taxi, but I don't know how close other car rental companies are...also, some car rental companies will reimburse cab fare to/from train stations)

which rental company does that? is that only from train stations or would they also pay a taxi from a bus station or from home (i know enterprise has free pick up service)? would they pay a 30 miles cab fare?

I don't think it's a standard policy by any company. However, some companies list train stations as a rental point, but don't actually have any agents or cars there. Thus, when you arrive by train, you call the local brick-n-mortar operation, and they come pick you up (or pay your cab fare). Whether this is offered in DeLand, I don't know. However, if the nearest Hertz/Budget/etc location is only 5 miles from the train station, it may make sense to take a cab on your own dime if it ends up giving you a better rate.
And as far as reimbursing a 30 mile cab fare? Probably not going to happen. I don't think even Enterprise would drive you that far.
