Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Thai air ticket counters HEATHROW
I need some help from my FT colleagues... I will transferring from a BA flight arriving in Terminal 5 at Heathrow and have a 2 hour and 40 minute connection time to Terminal 3 at Heathrow to pick up TG 911 to BKK... How do I secure my boarding pass ( I have an e ticket ) and do I have enough time? Thanks so much.....

02:40 hour is 'just' about enough time to catch TG911 if there is no delay at T5. I am not sure about how to get to T3 from T5, but there should be a free Heathrow Express link or shuttle bus.
You can check-in and select seat online at www.thaiair.com 24 hours before scheduled departure.
Once you arrive at T3 go to TG check-in counter at zone C (maybe D), where SAS staff will check you in. Go upstairs ASAP to the departure lounge where the security screening *may* be very crowded (20-30 min waiting time max). If you're in First/Business, you're entitled to use the Fast Track lane.
I thank you but I think there is an easier way via the CONNECTION CENTER in terminal 3 which one can access without going upstairs to the departure area.. Am I right?....
I don't know about any connection center but I've never had a connecting flight at LHR. I do know that there is a free Heathrow Express shuttle train that is operating between T3 and T5. I was at T3 the day after T5 opened and had some time to go over to T5 to see the chaos BA created. I have no idea how long you'll being getting out of T5, but once you do it should take you about 30 minutes to get to T3 via the train.

RTW4, this link may help http://www.heathrowairport.com click on the flight connections bit on the right hand side and it will tell you all you need to know.
There's an airside shuttle bus to T3 and you should be able to go to a transfer desk to get your BP and re-clear security in the flight connections centre without having to go landside.

Willie Walsh is now saying T5 is now operating normally. Not sure whether you can trust his words though :p
