Is anyone know that if all the flights from LAX-HKG-LAX come with new Y seat?
Not all...I did the route last month, we were delayed got talking to a FA about the refurbishment, she told me the very plane I was on the back wasn't refurbished even though I had a new F suite. So that means I was on a 74A but economy was same-old whatever it normally is on 744. I think some people on this FT forum already posted about a plane or two that didn't get the Y upgrade but the front got it.

Please mind that there are frequent aircraft substitutions on this route. I was on 880 HKG-LAX last week, not supposed to have the 74A but that appeared to change a day or so before the flight (and sometimes it's less notice than that).

HKG-LAX shows either 74A or EQV... I have EQV this sunday and i just hope I get the good stuff :)

3 points I wish to make:
o B-HKT, the first refurbished 74A, does not have the new Y seat, and still has the old StudioCX.
o CX is famous for it's equipment swap.
o EQV means "equipment varies on different days". Make a dummy booking on CX.com to find out your aircraft. However take note of point above.

Just did some "false bookings." 4/19-4/22 HKG-LAX is all 744. :( :(
