Has anyone taked advantage of the Zuwar program offered by RJ.

The hotel rates are very good and I want to do a day trip down to Petra, but the whole RJ Cs and web site service is terrible.

Who do I contact??? They say it can be booked on line , but I can't see where.

when I call RJ here in USA, I get Amman who tell me that I have to talk to RJ in NY, but I only get Amman staff in the beginning.

Finally talk to someone in NY, who is just useless and full of bad information.

So any advice??

eireman, did you find any earlier discussions of RJ and Zuwar with a search of FT or google?

Considering your handle, have you considered Etihad? EY has some generous redemptions and mileage-earning promotions, or at least did recently, which might be useful.

You could earn miles toward a trip to DUB!

Why RJ? What are your options considering your travel plans?

If you do fly with RJ, please post a report in the Trip Reports forum or this forum's TR thread as we have little or no info on the airline except the thread from this week.

Good luck.
Try to find out if there is someone more knowledgeable in the NY office, or see if it can be escalated to someone more senior, like a country/region manager.

You might get a response or a PM from a reader here, but based on your post above of your experience to date, I wouldn't want to fly RJ except as a last resort, unless you can get coached on how to make it tolerable.

Just general discussions that just bring one back to the web site which is quite informative on this issue , but is lame in the final crucial step of how to actually book what you want.

Since I am in USa and part of OW, RJ together with its good J prices works for me, I am actually transiting on to BKK on a RTW trip
My miles go into AA which is the best out there for redemption and includes EI as a partner.

I will post a trip report after my trip in late April

Have you asked in the OW forum (and searched RJ or Jordanian for 'all' forums?) about RJ?

Surely there must be some discussion on this airline if it is a OW partner. :)

Bottom line is it is completely disorganized and the web site while it advertized all the prices then leave you in the lurch.

But I have finally figured it all out and have it all confirmed.

You do it thru NY office and basically the easiest way is to send them an e mail outlining your datesand what you want.

The e mail address is nyctnrj@rj.com

They will send you a credit authorization form to be filled out and then they send you a voucher for your buy.

The rates, especially hotel are VERY good.

Remember that these rates are only for transit pax, O/d pax do not qualify.

Don't wait until last minute to try and order though.

Fingers crossed for no more problems.

Hi eireman, did all work out as planned? Do you recommend the stopover program?

HI Village Flyer

Yes It was a great trip as I flew RJ in J all the way from JFK to BKK and it was very nice. The zuwar prices were very good (substanatial discount)and I did the Petra day tour also under the program.

The only hickcup upon arrival was that I had been told to get my voucher etc upon arrival, I assumed that there wasa RJ/Zuwar desk in the arrivals hall ,but it turned out that the travel agency guy was actually beyond immigration upstarir near where you get your visas etc upon arrival. I was one of the first off the aircraft and he swore he was there , but I never saw my name on any board.

Luckily my local customer was meeting me at the airport and we managed to track the guy down after about an hour to get the paperwork including the voucher for my stay at the Mariott, but it was all done with typical Jordanian pace and inefficiencies.

Enjoy Amman, I actually like it everytime I go

Could I ask how much the bus class JFK-BKK flight was on RJ? Living in Detroit I'm curious about using RJ for some routings to eastern Europe.
