Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Seeking Member Feedback On Forum Descriptions!

Hey Folks,

As you may have noticed, some of the “Destination >> World” forums have descriptions while others don’t. The TalkBoard is working on writing descriptions for all of these forums, which is why we’re asking for your help.

lucky9876coins and I have volunteered to get feedback from the members, so we would love to hear your ideas for the Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific forum. The descriptions have to be 250 characters or less and should provide a bit of local flavor is possible.

For example, we think the description of the Japan forum is particularly good:

There's nothing 'Lost in Translation' here as we talk about the sights, sounds and the visuals of this gateway to the Orient. Tip: slurp the noodles and gift the kimono.

Of course creativity is great, so please share your thoughts! We won’t work on finalizing anything until May 1 to give members plenty of time to provide feedback.

That's what you get when a Californian writes about the South Pacific. :) I didn't know that about "The Southland".

Moai are Easter Island. I was thinking Fiji for Kava-Kava.

Fosters, shrimp, barbie and a few other words must be banned from the description competition
(and updated to reflect the post 1980s, just as Paul Hogan did with his wife and his face, many years ago :eeK:) . :mad:

I am very happy if the Kiwi contingent includes reference to that rare bird and my fave fun white wine region, and some other fun spots.
That NZ tourism campaign is getting a but tired, so maybe scratch that.

Bungee is still a drawcard, even if everyone does it now, it's a kewl kiwi concoction. :)

How about a description to include our Pacific 'brews'?
