I like it because the staff are always attentive from the bellman to the check in agent. The rooms are renovated, but the hotel has a nice "historic hotel" feel to it. Location is right in downtown if that's where you have to be. Im sure there is more detail on it in the Hilton forum. ksucats Apr 8, 08, 12:01 am I could give my opinion with a little more info. Are you wanting downtown KC or some other part of town? I recently spent my wife's birthday weekend at the Raphael on one of their romantic packages & it was wonderful. It is on the plaza. polo123 Apr 8, 08, 2:58 am i have to go to overland park for business.but my wife wants to stay somewhere near really good shopping and has good restaurants. There are quite a few good hotels on the plaza. That is where you want to stay. If you aren't interested in earning points, the Raphael is very nice. They have a romantic package that is pretty cool. My wife & I stayed there with that package in January. |
