Do you get access to the QF Club when traveling on a reward J class ticket?

Yes for international J, no for domestic J (domestic is within Australia with no international sectors on that ticket).

LAX-AKL on a reward J ticket will get you access into the LAX QF club right?

This would be a CO reward on a QF flight, does that matter?

Yes, it does not matter how you get the J boarding pass, just having a valid J boarding pass in your hand is your entry to the QP for international services. So this is fine for awards, upgrades, prizes, promotional giveaways (where do I get mine?) etc. Oh yes, and paid J get in as well http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif.
