Best Western Rewards - website claims 7 days for stays to post; CS says not true for miles-earning stays

When you go to your Online Statement, the website says:

"Don't see a recent stay recorded? Please allow 7 days for your account to be updated. After 7 days you may visit Missing Points/Miles to request an update."

I waited until 8 days after checkout, then, not seeing that stay posted, I submitted a missing stay report. The next day CS emailed me that that stay and a subsequent had already posted a couple days before! So I emailed a copy of my online statement and said the website says 7 days for stays to post and is it different for miles-earning stays, and they replied:

"I apologize for the delay in being able to view your mileage postings. Our system show that the miles have been posted but unfortunately they will not show up in your statement until they have been sent to the airline which can take as long as 7 days."

I wonder how many times they have to go through this just because they can't spell this out in the place on the website where they point you to report a missing post? :)
