This might be good for some of us; maybe to add to the odd mileage run.
New Indian destinations, doubling the options. Old news here?
Seeing as some airlines get publicity for new routes, let's recognise Etihad is in major route expansion mode, too.

Some may recognise Etihad is expanding at an unprecedented rate in several regions as part of its Summer schedule.

Etihad Airways in India has recently received rights to fly to four new destinations from this year - Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai and Kozhikode. This is in preparation for its new summer schedule which commences on March 30, 2008. Says Neerja Bhatia, country manager, Etihad Airways, “We are very excited with the prospect of doubling the number of cities we operate from in India. We start our summer schedule in India with flights to Kozhikode and are currently in the process of setting up a schedule that will allow us to offer our customers more options.”
