Could one keep an Am/Ex card through a ch 7? I called to ask, but as I wouldnt give them my account #, they wouldnt help me. lol

Just wondering..

If you are going Ch. 7 it seems your credit card retention shouldn't be a big objective.

Chapter 13 (or 11 for companies) might make a decent argument for needing some sort of credit facilities. If you are really in the more severe shape that the law allows you to discharge all obligations in return for your nonexempt property, I think you are seriously in error trying to keep a credit card.

If your debts to them are discharged, yes.
If you pay everything you owe to them, no.
