Air New Zealand Air Points - Emailing NZ query

Has anyone ever had an answer to any email query to NZ? A friend who works for NZ says they have an absymal record in responding. I left a sentimentally valuable jacket on a cross-Tas flt on 19 Mar (going on from SYD on UA); several emails to baggage services have been ignored. Mrs MH reminds me that NZ didn't respond to fare query or routing email a year or two ago. I suppose I could try to Skype-call & go through the hold-hold-hold routine. Any thoughts?

Just call your local toll free number for air nz and be asked to be put though to someone that can help. you can find these toll free numbers on airnz.com
I've never had much of a problem getting a response - but I don't email the general enquiries address (use the Gold/Gold Elite address).
That said - why bother with skype? Call the local toll free number for your country.

No problem here, whether using elite email address (usually responded to within an hour, at least during normal work hours) or using the online feedback form (usually responded to same or next working day).
