Hi there,
need a quick advice on which cellphone to pick to replace my Treo (which I hate btw).
I have the choice between the Tilt and Blackjack II. While the wifi function on the Tilt seems great, I would tend to favor the BJ II because of the size?
Anybody can share his/her experience so that I make my final pick
Thanks

Go with the Tilt. The touchscreen, GPS, 3MP camera and WiFi make for a great device.

I'm partial to the size issue, having switched from an 8125 to a BJ for that reason.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia E61i: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.10406/286; U; en))
Keep in mind the BlackJack is a much faster device.

If you've got the time, look at the Sony Ericsson Xperia that is coming out.

Between the Tilt and HTC TyTN II, I vote for the TyTN II. It is far more modifiable. The hacker community supporting the phone is incredible. I have an HTC TyTN I (Cingular 8525). I reflashed the phone with the Shap's ROM from XDA and I have Touch Flo, and a number of other features.
Yes, the TyTN series is a little larger, but you can do anything with them. I'm not sure whether the TyTN II or the Blackjack II is faster. Comparing megahertz doesn't really work when different processors are in play.

For me, size was the main reason for the Blackjack. Also, I find the slider keyboard less usable (especially one handed) than the fixed one on the Samsung.
Another thing to consider if you don't care about high speed data in Europe is a refurbished BlackJack (original). I actually prefer it as it has the grippy rubberized finish. It's also a little cheaper.

thanks for the replies.
I don't really mind not having a touchscreen. I used to have a T-Mobile Dash (or its french equivalent) and really liked it. Unfortunately it's not offered.
I'll probably pick the BJ II, but haven't made up my mind yet.
