Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns (Pre-Alignment) - Frontier selling 4 planes

The second story listed here (http://www.atwonline.com/news/other.html?issueDate=3%2F24%2F2008). F9 is unloading two 319s and two 318s to a leasing company that will be shipping them over to Russia. This actually seems better than most other domestic carriers that are grounding planes; at least F9 will get paid for these rather than just shipping them out to the desert.

What animals on the tail?

One must also remember that they are selling four planes and gaining two 320's, so really its a net loss of two aircraft.

It's a smart move IMO.
