MilesBuzz! - Which airline to Sydney

Hi guys,

Not sure where I should be posting this, so have put it here in the hope that it can be moved to the right place!

My brother is travelling out to Sydney on 11th Sep in economy (one way), and he has found two options around the same price:

Malaysia Airlines :
Depart : 11Sep 12:00 from London [LHR] - 1 Stop / via Kuala Lumpur [KUL] /
22h 35m
Arrival : 12Sep 19:35 to Sydney [SYD]

or

Singapore Airlines :
Depart : 11Sep 12:00 from London [LHR] - 1 Stop / via Singapore [SIN] /
21h 50m
Arrival : 12Sep 18:50 to Sydney [SYD] +1

Any of you guys got any views on which one he should take in terms of comfort and service etc.,?

On such a long flight seat pitch is vital. MAS has the best seat pitch and service is quite good. I understand that they also give a free fdomestic flight.I will chose MAS over SQ who have shorter seat pitches
