MilesBuzz! - Combining program miles for hotel stay

Is it possible to combine miles from United and Aadvantage to use for hotel stays at the Omni? Aadvantage vacation department allows miles for Omni hotel stays only, but I'd need to combine both accounts for what I'm trying to do.

You can convert United miles --> Diners Club credit card --> American miles with a 50% devaluation (lose half the miles in the process).

You might consider checking out the American board for some more effective ways of earning the AA miles that you need, though.
