Just saw it in the AA forum and have confirmed it with the latest OW timetable: get ready for a long 757 redeye. Bad news for a popular OWE segment.

SNA_Flyer Mar 19, 08, 12:16 pm I recall it being 757 during the spring/summer last year, but it going back to 763. I did fly the route around labor day last year and it was a 763. That clears it then, thanks. DownUnderFlyer Mar 20, 08, 9:02 pm The bad thing about this route is that is books into D and not A class for a DONx. Or is this one different? Nope, not different, it is just like any other caribbean flight, so no A. deepbluesky Mar 20, 08, 10:52 pm Wow, bad timing. I'm going on this flight on April 2! (Coming back a couple days later.) It has already changed to the 757 in my AA profile. This will actually be the first AA flight of my first DONE4, so hopefully the others will be better. number_6 Mar 21, 08, 6:32 am Wow, bad timing. Lots of research material is out here on FT but you do need to make use of it (and put up with the pathetic search engine -- Google searches work better within FT). deepbluesky Mar 21, 08, 9:18 pm But the change was totally predictable, so you should have expected it (even the date turned out to be the standard one). Sorry, I'm not as well versed in this as some of you guys are (yet). Also, I don't think I could have made a change even if I had known. The days before and the days after have scheduled events that can't be shifted. Anyway, I'll make the best of it. No big deal. |
