What I wanted to ask you is the following:

(i) Knowing CDG well enough, the 50 mins. connection in the outbound flight is rather risky. My question is: shall I try it nonetheless? Or, as it is a DL ticket, I might have problems with them rebooking me to the next flight to FCO (AZ operated) in case I miss the connection? Please note that it seems that the following flight (AZ333, which departs at 12:35) is not operated in code-share with DL.

(ii) If the flight from JFK arrives on time, but the aircraft is parked at a remote location and there is a long queue in the immigration area, and because of this I loose my connecting flight, will there be any problem in being rebooked to the next flight to FCO?

(iii) I've read all the threads I could find about DL tickets for AF flights and I know there are some issues with it (namely seat choice for elites or meals). What I'm not sure yet is if I'll be able to check-in online through www.airfrance.us. Can anyone help me here?

(iv) The same question but for the inbound flight, in which I'll have an AZ ticket and a DL ticket for two AF operated flights: can I check-in online?

Thank you!

I haven't had any reply yet and I'm travelling tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I already know the answer to question (iii) [and likely to (iv) as well]. I've tried to check-in online using all possible combinations and wasn't able to do so. I always get the following reply:

The following errors occurred:
The information entered did not allow us to find your file. Please re-enter the required information.

However, AF's website clearly says that I can check-in online with a DL ticket:

You can access this service [e-check-in]:
- if you have an electronic ticket from Air France, KLM or another SkyTeam member airline, with or without an identifier;
- if you don't need any special service at the airport (unaccompanied minor, wheelchair, etc.);
- if you are not travelling with a pet (either in the cabin or in the hold);
- if you are not travelling with a baby or as part of a group;
- your trip does not include travel via tgvair;

if you are not travelling from:
- in Italia: Rome, Milan Linate or Milan Malpensa to Paris-Charles de Gaulle on a flight starting AF98xx
- in Switzerland: Geneva to London-City
- in Europe: Genoa, Ljubljana, Malaga, Moscow, Porto, Saint-Petersburg, Valence, Valladolid, Vérone, Vigo, Yerevan, Zagreb
- in Africa-Middle East: Damascus, Marrakech, Tehran
- in America: Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Newark
- in Asia:Seoul
- in the Caribbean-Indian Ocean: Seychelles

I've called AF reservations and AF web assistance and they couldn't explain why the website says this.
The result is that probably I won't get a bulkhead anyway...
