I've got an award expiring next month. Any chance we'll see the above months available for booking in the next couple of weeks?

You'll have to find something between now and the end of summer. or you can open up a amex card to keep them from expiring? davidmay Mar 16, 08, 3:19 pm or you can open up a amex card to keep them from expiring? The amex card just keeps your points from expiring while you're working your way up to 100; it doesn't extend the one-year life of award trips once you've earned them. My usual solution is to find a friend or relative who needs a plane ticket to come and visit... dinosims Mar 16, 08, 4:36 pm You can also make a "fake" booking, and then when the schedule is extended, just pay a $50 change fee to change it to the date of your choice. You end up having to pay a small fee, but for some it might be worth it to get the flights you want. flyinggolfer Mar 16, 08, 4:59 pm My usual solution is to find a friend or relative who needs a plane ticket to come and visit...
