I've got an award expiring next month. Any chance we'll see the above months available for booking in the next couple of weeks?

last year it was early May when bookings for November/December were made available, so who knows.

probably not...the schedule till the end of oct just came out last week or two weeks ago.

guess you out of luck on your award for nov/dec. You'll have to find something between now and the end of summer. or you can open up a amex card to keep them from expiring?

The amex card just keeps your points from expiring while you're working your way up to 100; it doesn't extend the one-year life of award trips once you've earned them.

My usual solution is to find a friend or relative who needs a plane ticket to come and visit...

You can also make a "fake" booking, and then when the schedule is extended, just pay a $50 change fee to change it to the date of your choice. You end up having to pay a small fee, but for some it might be worth it to get the flights you want.
