American Express Membership Rewards - Hilton AmEx to be discontinued in Sweden?

I signed up for the Hilton AmEx (equivalent of the Green Card) last fall since it came with a nice bonus of 10 000 Hilton HHonors points (I know that people here in the US get a lot more, but this was Sweden) and instant Silver status with HHonors.

Anyhow, with Scandic (the Scandinavian hotel chain) leaving Hilton 1 January this year the co-branded card has dissappeared from the Swedish AmEx web page. Now my question is, does anybody know if the same will happen to the card in my wallet? If so, when?

Having used it for some months and charged 60 000 SEK (about $10.000) I have already earned more than 50k HHonors points and I must say I like it somehow. It is a charge card and it is good to know that I can indeed charge it when I need without worrying about credit limits. Having browsed through the features of the normal AmEx cards I can not say that I am particularly impressed, the earn/burn ration is in fact miserable. But that is another story I guess.

Maybe this belongs in the Hilton forum but now it seems that I cannot move it myself.

If they discontinue the Swedish card you can always sign up for the German version. Your profile indicates that you are also sometimes in Germany. You would however need a German bank account.
