Hertz - Pet Policy? Pet Friendly?

Does Hertz or any of the other car rental agencies have a pet policy? I am trying to find a Pet Friendly rental agency to get an SUV from. I plan on getting one at JFK to bring a dog (and my luggage, but most importantly my dog) home.
I would LOVE to take the train in and then be able to rent a car for the way home then stay in long term parking for 10 days!

no car rental company has a pet friendly policy, just make sure the car is clean when you return it, you might be hit with a $100 cleaning fee if the car is returned with tons of pet hair on the seats etc

I am planning on renting from JFK, and I really dont wanna have a reservation all set and when they see my dog (and kennel), turn me away. Of course when I call to reserve the car I will verify and double verify.
