Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - SAA JNB-MUC becomes a day flight for 5 months

SAA changed JNB-MUC to a day flight from 21/04-29/09 with a very inconvenient timing 09.30-20.00. Because of connecting flights it forces an overnight stay for me both in JNB and in MUC :(. I hope I can switch to the FRA flight. MUC-JNB remains an overnight flight.

... Are they short of planes?I have always thought it makes much more economic sense to make one of the legs to Europe a daylight flight. Rather than keeping the plane idle for more than 12 hours and paying astronomical "parking" fee. Provided the pax will fly a daylight flight, of course. ;)
