Just received news that my grandmother has terminal cancer, between 2 - 4 weeks left.. :( My dad and I are going no matter the price of ticket. My mom, sister and her twin daughters (17 months) would like to travel but only if the price of ticket is less than $500 for each adult.
I am looking for something in these dates. March 18-19 to March 26-27!!! I search overnight using Itasoftware but it seems they are not bookable yet. I have also used Kayak & Mobissimo.
I would prefer Lacsa/Taca or a United flight codeshare with those two airlines.
Thanks in advance.

ITAsoftware.com. If it won't book online just call them and feed them the flights.

Flight numbers and booking class.
What were they quoting you on the phone? How many people are you looking to put on this one reservation?

They told me $632 per adult and $302 per infant.

1. American Airlines from LAS to GUA $397.80
2. Go to priceline.com and make a bid for the dates you want and see if you get a fare that works. Priceline bid are on the BASE fare, so research what base fare you want (not including taxes ++) and make a bid. The infant rules (under age 2) may vary from carrier to carrier.
3. Using HOTWIRE on the dates you posted (LAX), the fare including all taxes comes out to $518.30 onboard Copa.

Bid $200 on Priceline and see what they offer you back. I bet they will offer you $325 all in. be careful though they add taxes to your bid which they disclose.

Mod, please move this discussion to another forum... this is neither a MR Deal or a MR Discussion.

You might have better luck splitting up and taking different flights. I am having trouble finding 4 people on the same PNR for a reasonable price.

Try American Airlines - I know that they have bereavement fares for travel when a family member dies - this may work for you as well.

Thanks to everyone for helping. I know is pretty hard to get a decent fare with pretty much all of Latin America having High Season due to Eastern Holidays. My dad and I can travel at any time with a stop, the problem is the other family members with the 17 month old twins.
Didn't know where to post this thread, I thought I would get the most replies here.

I agree with this; I recently had to arrange an emergency medical fare for both myself (traveling domestic) and a family member (traveling international). AA was excellent at taking care of the situation and offered 2-day advance fares that equated to a 70% discount compared to the regularly published fares available at that point in both cases.
It is important to note that they do require the hospital and patient name (and what the relation is) for all those travelling so they can make sure it's legitimate.

As others have noted this really isn't appropriate to MR and since the OP has found his ticket, we can close this thread.
