So I've either turned completely computer-illiterate in the past ten minutes or else JetBlue's website is just really, really bad.

I want to check/change my seats online. So I log into my account, click on "Manage Flight" under "Your Future Flights", and the only option is to CHANGE or CANCEL the flight. Nothing about seats.

Somewhere I found another page with a "quick link" to "Change your seats" (can't find it right now) but it asks for my confirmation number, last name, origin and destination. WHY DO I MANUALLY HAVE TO ENTER THIS INFO? Why is there no "change seats" button when I bring up my itinerary? I am logged in already.

Why am I so darn frustrated right now with this website?!

the other problem like this I've seen is trying to book TrueBlue flights; sometimes I get a flight search page that lists award flights as an option, and sometimes I don't, and I haven't figured out why. I end up having to go back to the award history page.... so usually what you need to do is there somewhere, but it isn't always where you'd like it.

If you go to the Manage Flights (http://jetblue.com/trueblue/ManageFlightsLogin.aspx) link, there should be a column to your right called Quick Links that will have a link you can click to change your seats. This may be a relatively new feature, as in the past I've had difficulty figuring out how to change my seats too.

At one time it was possible. I have done in the past, but lately I have had to call to change a seat assignment. I now get an error message when I click on the available seat.

I encountered the same challenges changing seating assignments yesterday. This is, unfortunately, the best way I've figured out how, even with a TrueBlue-linked reservation:

1. In the top right corner of the jetblue.com homepage, click "HELP."
2. Click "MANAGE YOUR FLIGHTS," the second heading.
3. Click "CHANGE SEATS" near the bottom of the list.
4. Click the "ONLINE SEAT CHANGES" link in the paragraph entitled "CHANGE YOUR SEAT ASSIGNMENT."
5. Enter your info, click "CHANGE YOUR SEAT," and change your seats!

As onerous as this process sounds, it's an improvement over a few months ago, when you had to go through this scary reconfirmation process when changing a seat that resembled the same process you go through to change or cancel a reservation, and made it look as though you might have to pay a change fee in order to revise your seating assignment (you didn't, but it was kinda scary nonetheless).

C'mon, JetBlue. I know you can do better.

I find the easiest way to change seats is too go back to the original e-mail confirmation I received from jetblue and click on view seats.

OK, glad it's not me.
This is really pathetic.
